Open debate to be held on color variants.
In correlation with the exponential growth of the South African wildlife and game industry, the amount of debates has flared up at an equal rate, and this year seems to be no exception.
The Waterberg Nature Conservancy (WNC) invites game farmers and all other interested parties to a “Town Hall” type debate on the breeding of color variants in the game industry.
The debate will be between Dr. Gerhard Verdoorn whose stance is against the breeding of color variants and well respected, game rancher, Mr Barry York.
The debate will take place on Friday, 17 April 2015 at the Waterberg Academy which is situated just outside Vaalwater in Limpopo on the new Ellisras Road (approximately 300m from the SPAR centre and opposite the farmer’s hall)
The program will start at 5pm in the afternoon and the program includes a Debate on color variants, Biodiversity & Conservation, The Magnificent Waterberg and a Bring and Braai.
